As the Castle Tap's Open Mic falls on the bank holiday this month, they're doing another showcase!
Seven of their regular acts, including Bored Slippy, Left Foot Forward and Rob Devereux, will be going big with 30 minute slots throughout the afternoon. A mix of music, spoken word, and stand up - why not make a day of it?

We are back for another day of art, music and more as the Centre opens its doors for the annual Here Comes The Sun festival. The centre will be transformed into a vibrant celebration of all the things the Centre and its volunteers hold dear. Bunting, fake grass, lots of colour and a glorious programme of arts all over the building! We have an incredible lineup of talented musicians and performers across 3 stages, captivating art installations and a host of family-friendly activities.👩🏻🎨👨🏻🎨

- Saturday 9th August, Here Comes The Sun, The Rising Sun Arts Centre, as part of a full afternoon/evening line up of local music supporting a pillar of the local music scene.
- Monday 25th August, The Castle Tap, as part of an afternoon showcase of regular acts from the Open Mic Night that we just so happen to run.
- Saturday AND Sunday 30th & 31st of August, BunkFest, Wallingford as one of the dozens of acts that descend on this amazing little town each year.
