Held on a muddy dairy farm in Bethel, New York, Woodstock wasn’t just a concert — it was a movement. Over 400,000 people gathered in August 1969, united by a common desire for love, freedom, and a better world. No internet. No phones. Just music, rain, mud, and meaning.
With legendary performances by Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Santana, and many more, the festival became a defining symbol of the counterculture era — a moment when music met message, and the youth spoke louder than ever before.
There were no VIPs, no influencers — just humanity at its rawest and realest.
Rain fell. Guitars roared. And history was made.
