Changes are afoot!

Here we have Jess from Poole with an amazing first time pass with only 2 driver faults. Jess decided to take her time with her driving journey to make sure she was super confident she would pass and oh boy did that pay off today. The confidence she now shows behind the wheel is unrecognizable from the person last year. Well done Jess and enjoy your new found freedom

Congratulations to Romina from Parkstone who sailed though her test with only 3 DF’s. Romina came to us after a couple of previous setbacks and taking some time away from driving and what a good decision that was. Good luck with your uni and stay safe on the roads

📢 The rules for booking a practical car driving test are changing.

From 31 March 2026, learner drivers and approved driving instructors (ADIs) will only be able to change a driving test booking up to 2 times.

A change includes:
- changing the date or time
- changing the test centre
- swapping an appointment with another learner

If you’re an ADI, please make sure your pupils only book their test when they’re ready as swapping between pupils will count towards this limit. You can set times when you're available to take your pupils to their driving tests. This stops your pupils from booking tests at times that do not work for you.

👉 When this comes into force, everyone with a driving test booked will have 2 changes available, regardless of how many changes they may have already made.

This change is part of the outcome of our consultation to improve the way driving tests are booked.

No wonder she’s looking happy as Courtney produced a zero fault first time pass! Courtney had heard good things about ProMotion Driving School so has been getting a lift from Christchurch to Poole every week for lessons with instructor Danny.
