Self-compassion is at the heart of what we teach. It is one of the hardest things to do.
How are you experiencing this word?

One of the first things people often say after a NADA session is:
“I slept,” not just passed out from exhaustion, but actually slept.
Deep sleep is one of the first things the nervous system struggles with when someone has been carrying stress or trauma for a long time.
Because a traumatised nervous system does not fully switch off.
It stays alert, scanning, listening and preparing - even during rest.
That’s why so many people wake up tired, wired, anxious or emotionally exhausted before the day has even started.
NADA acupuncture helps support the nervous system by creating a sense of regulation and safety within the body. And when the body begins feeling safer, sleep often improves naturally.
People describe:
• falling asleep easier
• waking less during the night
• feeling calmer before bed
• fewer racing thoughts
• waking feeling more rested
Sleep is not lazy.
Sleep is repair.
It is one of the body’s most important healing mechanisms.
Sometimes improving someone’s sleep changes everything else that follows.
How is your sleep?

Most workplaces are trying to solve burnout once people are already running on empty.
The reality is many staff are carrying stress, overwhelm and nervous system dysregulation long before it shows up as absence, conflict, exhaustion or disengagement.
At Pathfinder CIC, we offer trauma-informed workplace wellbeing sessions designed to help people feel calmer, safer and more regulated within themselves.
Because people perform better when they are not constantly operating in survival mode.
Our workplace services include:
• Nervous system regulation tools
• Somatic practices
• Group NADA acupuncture
• Guided meditation
• Trauma-informed wellbeing training
• Staff wellbeing workshops
This work is gentle, practical and human.
And honestly, in the world we live in now, supporting the nervous system is no longer a luxury. It’s becoming essential leadership.
If you would like to explore wellbeing support for your team, send us a message.

One of the biggest fears people have before joining our Somatic Trauma-Informed NADA Acupuncture Training is:
“What if I leave the training and still don’t feel confident?”
That’s exactly why we built ongoing support into the program.
Because learning a new skill is one thing.
Actually integrating it into real life, real clients, and real business takes support, practice and guidance.
So when you train with Pathfinder CIC, you are not just handed a certificate and waved off into the wild like a confused baby deer with acupuncture needles.
You receive ongoing:
• online coaching and mentoring
• monthly support sessions
• practical guidance around clients and facilitation
• business and marketing support
• nervous system and trauma-informed education
• a supportive practitioner community
I know how vulnerable it can feel starting something new, especially for people who genuinely care deeply about helping others.
That is why we stay connected.
This work changes lives.
But it also requires regulated practitioners who feel supported themselves.
And that part matters to me deeply. Click on the link below to find out about our upcoming training sessions:

One of the most powerful things neuroscience has taught us is that trauma does not just live in the brain, but also in the nervous system.
Many people are walking around believing they are “too emotional,” “too anxious,” “too sensitive,” or “too much,” when their body is simply doing what it learned to do to survive.
The nervous system adapts to stress.
Especially prolonged stress, unpredictability, criticism, neglect or emotional unsafety.
Over time, this can show up as:
• overthinking
• emotional shutdown
• people pleasing
• difficulty trusting
• exhaustion
• hyper-independence
• always feeling on edge
• struggling to rest
• feeling disconnected from yourself
These are often adaptive responses and NOT personal failures.
And the beautiful thing is this:
The brain and nervous system can also adapt towards healing, safety and connection.
Self-compassion matters because many people are attacking themselves for the very strategies that once protected them.
Sometimes healing starts with changing the question from:
“What is wrong with me?”
to
“What happened to my nervous system?”
How can you show yourself some love and compassion today?

Sleep is so important; it can either make our day or break it.
How is your sleep?

The more I studied trauma and the nervous system, the more I realised something important:
Most people are not lacking motivation, but safety in the body.
You can give someone all the mindset tools in the world, but if their nervous system is exhausted, hyper-alert or stuck in survival mode, change becomes incredibly difficult to sustain.
That is why I created our Somatic Trauma-Informed NADA Acupuncture Training.
It is about understanding people differently.
Understanding why people:
• shut down
• overthink
• relapse
• struggle to rest
• stay stuck in patterns
• become disconnected from themselves
And more importantly, learning practical ways to help regulate the nervous system safely and compassionately.
This training combines:
• NADA Acupuncture
• Somatic trauma-informed approaches
• Nervous system education
• Group facilitation skills
• Practical tools you can integrate into your current work immediately
Perfect for therapists, coaches, recovery workers, holistic practitioners, support workers, wellbeing facilitators and humans who genuinely want to help people feel safer within themselves.

Most people working with trauma, anxiety, addiction, burnout, or overwhelm are still trying to solve nervous system problems with conversation alone.
But the body remembers what the mind tries to move on from.
That’s why I became trained in the NADA protocol.
This simple 5-point protocol changed my personality, and the most common feedback we would always receive is "Life-changing". It just works.
NADA is a simple but powerful auricular acupuncture protocol that helps regulate the nervous system, reduce anxiety and stress, improve sleep, support emotional regulation, and create a sense of calm and safety in the body.
I’ve now used it with thousand plus people, and the feedback is always similar:
“I finally feel calm.”
“My mind has gone quiet.”
“I feel like myself again.”
The best part?
You can now become trained too.
Next week, from Friday to Sunday in Perth, we are running our NADA Acupuncture Training at Pathfindercic, and there is ONE LAST SPACE available.
This is not just a weekend course where you leave with a certificate and no clue what to do next.
You will also receive:

✔ Ongoing mentoring and business support
✔ A private community of like-minded practitioners
✔ A safe container to practice, ask questions, and receive feedback
✔ Support to start or grow your own business

Trauma-informed work is no longer optional, but essential.

Think of it as becoming a HD version of what you are already offering or if you are starting out, it is not from scratch, but with a proven methodolgy that has been used for over 50 years in post-disaster trauma support after 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina through Acupuncturists Without Borders, in prisons, NHS-linked services, addiction recovery centres, behavioural health programmes, community trauma settings internationally and private health and wellness professionals who is looking for a tool that truly works from the root up.
