Love Letham

| Sam Monie (UHI Perth Student Engagement Co-ordinator), Lisa Findlay (UHI Perth Marketing Team Leader) and Ian Massie (Councillor for Perth City North) are supporting the Love Letham Adult's Commission. 💙

They heard from a group of children and young people from the Love Letham Children's Commission, a group of over 600 local children in each of the primary schools in Letham ( , and ) who worked together to research where and why children feel safe or unsafe to play with their friends in the community.

Love Letham is an innovative participation project which aims to put children’s wellbeing at the heart of local decisions and UHI Perth is proud to be part of our local community.

Thank you to Love Letham for inviting us along tonight to hear all about phase 2, and your goal of advancing and protecting children's community safety in Letham. ❤️

We will be meeting in the Letham Community Club (function room) tonight at 6pm for an informal event to discuss all the work that happened during phase 1 of the Love Letham project as well planning for phase 2.

Phase 2 will be focussed on 'tackling frightening & anti social behaviour' and we want our community to be involved along the way. We’re making Letham one of the best places to grow up, by listening to voices of children and working with local decision makers and adults in the area to use their ideas to better our little place.

No long term commitment, come along to find out more and meet those involved to see how you can join us in phase 2!

📣Join us on Tuesday 20th June 6 - 7.30 pm for an informal information evening about the next phase of Love Letham, as well as a run down of all the happenings from Phase 1! 📣

We’re making Letham on of the best places to grow up, by listening to voices of children and working with local decision makers and adults in Letham to use their ideas to better our little area.

We will be meeting at Letham Community Club in the function room 6 pm - 7.30 pm next Tuesday to tell you everything you need to know to be involved in the next stage of the project and what we got up to in phase 1. Phase 2 will be focused on ‘tackling frightening anti social behaviour’ in the area - and we want to hear from our community!

The Love Letham Commission got off to a cracking start last week with our first meeting of the young people and adults Commission. We all shared what we wanted to come out of the project, had a first look at what children in the community have been telling us wellbeing means to them and much more.

It was wonderful to see so much energy in the room and the great commitment we all have to building on Letham's strengths and making it the best place to grow up.
