Afrofilms UK at MIP London 🎬✨

We had the incredible privilege of supporting the Creative African Content Pavilion at MIP London, in partnership with and , to facilitate the Best of Africa Pitch at the market.

From bold storytelling to visionary entrepreneurship, we witnessed the very best of African filmmaking and creative excellence take center stage. The energy, the innovation, the brilliance — Africa is not just participating in the global market, it’s shaping it.

We’re proud to champion these voices and can’t wait for the next market.

Huge congratulations to all the participants and the powerhouse

Afrofilms x Creative African Content Pavilion at the European Film Market.
Black stories. Global stage. Africa on the map. 🎬🌍

Celebrating the power of African storytelling and the voices shaping the future of global cinema. This is about visibility, ownership, and shifting narratives, creating space for bold, authentic stories from across the continent and the diaspora to be seen, valued, and invested in. We’re not just participating in the global film conversation, we’re influencing it. Africa’s creativity, innovation, and cultural impact belong at the center of the industry, and we’re making sure the world sees it.

✨ AfroFilms UK was proud to be part of the inaugural Access To Market event yesterday at L’Oscar, London. It was a groundbreaking initiative designed to bridge the gap between Black and Global Majority owned UK production companies and leading sales agents and distributors.

We joined an inspiring lineup including Altitude, Studiocanal, Hanway, Dogwoof, Embankment Films, Vertigo, Met Film, Blue Finch, True Brit, Other Parties, and We Are Parable.

We had the privilege of being pitched to by some of the UK’s most exciting Black and Global Majority owned production companies a powerful showcase of the talent and creativity redefining the landscape of British film.

Thank you to & Filmexport for creating space for important conversations and real opportunities. We’re excited for what’s ahead. 🌍🎬
