Here are some cards that I made using Block printing ink. I loved the process of making them and they turned out so beautifull. The paint was so rich and deep giving the cards such depth and the added gems on the large one worked really well. I didn’t over wet the roller or the cards and let them dry a while before I added anything on top.
My concern however came later on that week when I found that the ink had not dried fully and was still wet and sticky which meant that it had transferred itself to their other cards. It took over a week or so for them to be completely dry.

Have any of you ever used this ink in this way before, on card stock? What has been your experience? Please do share I’d love to know any tips please especially on how to avoid the transfer again.

So at our craft support group we tried our hand at laminating using matt laminating sheets. We all had a great fun doing it, especially when our designs would moved from how we wanted them to look. We all got mixed results with our work as we put our images, pictures, mixed media craft together. We used a flat sheet of card paper which we then carefully transferred to the laminating sheets. We were going to put the finished projects into stand up cards. However, we all got different results. You can see mine from the photos I measured the cards the wrong way 😅 so I had to improvise and use the backing card as a stand.

Have you ever used this medium before and if so, do share your experience I’d love to know 😊

I first began card making in 2005 and somehow moved onto Jewellery - Earrings, Necklaces, Bracket, but mainly Earrings of which I now have quite a few. My mum and her friends made the Silk Flower arrangements for my wedding and so I began to make them with her as a way of using up the spare baskets that I had around and then this craft just expanded from there. Some of our handmade crafts have been passed onto me from friends and family and are in need of a new home.

Had a great time yesterday at the fayre. People like what I had made 🙌🏽🥰🙌🏽
