CAST is an educational angling project established since 2003 working with schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire with disengaged young people.

CAST deliver a range of Qualifications available which can be tailored for learners individual needs. The CAST Project uses angling as a means to inspire and motivate young people to develop an interest in learning. What a fantastic day at the AP Olympics held at Berry Hill! With 10 APs taking part, our students truly made us proud. They were exceptionally well behaved, fully engaged, and, most importantly, had a great time throughout the event. Every student got involved and showed enthusiasm across all activities, including the long jump, triple jump, 100m sprint, 200m race, high jump, shot put, javelin, and discus. I couldn’t be prouder of both the staff and students for representing CAST so brilliantly. Part 1
