First time I’ve been jealous of a customer cake request 🤭 I absolutely love angel cake & slices so I may have to steal this idea for my own birthday 🎈

Hey everyone!

It comes with a semi heavy heart that I have to write this but rest assured it’s not the end!

As my son gets older I have to find a means to support myself and Zachariah. Unfortunately, the bakery alone isn’t enough to do that, so, I have had to find other work. I’ve managed to get a part time job which means my availability will be limited instead of being fully open.

With the cost of living also rising, the prices of food are becoming uncomfortably expensive and it is hard to make a profit, unless I change my ingredients to the cheapest possible, which isn’t something I want to do because it effects the standard of the cakes and taste. I love hearing the positive feedback about the quality of my work and the joy it brings to people.

I am so extremely grateful to every single customer who has supported me on my journey that I started 2 years ago, & continued to appreciate the skill and hard work that goes into making the cupcakes and celebration cakes! I am self taught so everything I do comes from hours upon hours of YouTube tutorials and practice along side being a solo parent.

My love for baking is still within me and I will continue to accept orders but not as many and not as complex, as I just won’t have the physical time to make them.

So, it’s not goodbye, it’s just a message to inform all of you lovely and forever incredible customers that I am slowing down ☺️🧁

Yesterday was a brilliant day!

It was pack with people, stalls, bbq food and entertainment. They have a summer fun day every year and it has such a massive turn out but more people could come 😁

I was selling some super tasty treats & can't wait for next year 🎂🧁

This cake wasn't the original order and after a major fail, I had to adapt and hope that the customer would love it all the same 😟

Sometimes, things just don't go as planned and we have to think on our feet quickly and do what we can.

The inside is a vanilla sponge and raspberry compot jam with vanilla butter cream and fondant decorations.
