Neighbourhood Policing Week 💙

Officers from Greater Eston Neighbourhoods held a knife amnesty at Golden Boy Green Community centre car park on Wednesday afternoon, 17 June.

This was an opportunity for anyone to surrender a bladed weapon, no questions asked.

We have permanent knife amnesty bins at our four main stations in Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar and Hartlepool, all year round.

🎖️🛩️ Celebrate Armed Forces Day in Stockton on Saturday (June 20) with a packed programme of family-friendly activities, live entertainment and tributes to serving personnel, veterans and cadets.

🤩 Set in the stunning surroundings of the new Stockton Waterfront urban park and the Riverside, highlights include an RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly-past, live music and performances, military vehicles and displays, and a thanksgiving service in the park’s amphitheatre.

Officers from Greater Eston NPT seized this quad bike on Nightingale Road in Teesville, on Monday 15th June.

The quad is believed to have been stolen and officers will now ensure that it gets back to its rightful owner.

Businesses and organisations across Middlesbrough are being urged to show their support for the Armed Forces community.

They’re invited to attend a special Armed Forces Covenant signing event at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Monday, June 22 during this year’s Armed Forces Week.

It’s a chance for them to publicly demonstrate their support for the Armed Forces community by signing the Covenant.

It is an important pledge to ensure that no member of the Armed Forces community faces disadvantage in employment or the services they provide.

It also represents a commitment by the Council and the town to strengthen the relationship between local communities and the military.

The event will be attended by Middlesbrough Mayor Chris Cooke who will re-sign the Covenant on behalf of Middlesbrough Council.

The event will take place in The Crypt at Middlesbrough Town Hall between 10am and noon.
