Extra Time Episode 32 with Newquay A.F.C. DoF Jason Waterman.

We recently sat down with Jason, who has held several roles in football, and who now operates in the DoF role for the South West club, talks us through the demands of the role, life in the South West, and his journey to present day!

Jason has been superb to work with, and wants to make a positive difference to the whole club, and to football itself. We couldn't have been happier to shoot this episode with him.

Did you know?

Over the last 10 seasons, Chelsea have generated around €1.4 BILLION from player sales, more than any other club in Europe.

Kudos to Benfica, and Monaco who continue to create huge revenue from sales, but you have to acknowledge the business Chelsea have done with regards sales. These sales continue to fuel their revenue for further transfers. As we know their model in recent years is to buy the best young talent, give long contracts, on smaller salaries, and hopefully turn a profit.

This season we see them continuing down this path, but also adding some experience which has been very much needed at the club.

What do we think? for sure those who spend the most, can possibly have larger sales but there are no guarantees in football.
