Andy Burnham (born January 7, 1970) is a British Labour Party politician currently serving his third term as the Mayor of Greater Manchester, a position he has held since 2017. Often referred to by the media as the "King of the North," he has become a prominent national figure known for his advocacy for Northern England.

Good morning everyone! Another hot day ahead, but if you prefer your weather cooler, there will be a drop-off in temperature tomorrow. Here is the latest weather forecast for sunny and sizzling Manchester.

▪️Tuesday: More dry and sunny weather out there today with just a light wind. Subtle changes compared to yesterday will include the presence of patchy clouds later due to convection, perhaps leading to an isolated shower over the Pennines. Air pollution is expected to be moderate as well, which will mean the sky will appear hazy and not pure blue. Feeling hot. Highs of 31°C

▪️Tuesday Night: Dry tonight with mostly clear skies for the most part tonight. Breezy and gradually a little cooler and less warm compared to last night. Lows of 14°C.

▪️Wednesday: 🌤️ Noticeably fresher on Wednesday, especially when exposed to a cool easterly breeze. There will be plenty of sunshine to enjoy, although along with patchy clouds at times. Not a cold day, but cool enough to bring an end to the heatwave. Highs of 23°C

▪️Thursday: 🌤️ The mercury rollercoaster will travel upwards again on Thursday. Skies will be largely sunny until the evening when thicker clouds will start to edge up from the south-west. Quite breezy. Highs of 28°C.

▪️Outlook: 🌤️ Cooler on Friday and probably into the weekend, although some models suggest another surge of warmth (high twenties temps) before Sunday. Remaining mostly dry with plenty of sunshine on Friday and Saturday as well, but turning mixed after this with temperatures much closer to average during next week.
