Somebody, anybody please tell me my daughter is having me on? This is a Bakewell Brownie and it measures 3cm x 3cm. If you are ravenous, you can order one (or even two?) from Starbucks

Wool jumpers waiting their turn to be photographed. Collective noun for huge warm sweaters? May I suggest a cuddle?

An interesting, textured yarn does half the work for you! Thick and thin pure wool makes a loose structure and every stitch is original. Watch this space. The finished project is taking shape.

Smashing afternoon tea at Jean Muriel’s knit and Natter session. Lovely to meet Mandy and Sue, see Jane’s 70’s inspired crochet tangerine top and set Jackie off on an exciting new project involving Mohair and Alpaca.
My latest knitted Tee was much liked too!

The Shortie version of the Big Jumper. Yes it may look a little out of proportion but check out the European catwalks as a midriff length and wide ‘too-long sleeves’ are all everywhere in Paris, Milan and Copenhagen. I think the Nordic countries make the most stunning knitwear.

So ethereal. An inspired combination of inner light and outer warmth
