01β’01β’26 I took in this beautiful snowy girl as her owners cant look after her anymore. She was previously owned then turned stray and had quite a few litters of kittens according to the latest owner. This owner then took her in for the last year, but now a family member has become heavily allergic and unfortunately its not working out anymore. Shes around 4 years old and not neutered or chipped.
Today (2nd) shes been fully health checked, flead and microchipped ready for her viewing tomorrow π©· Already the potential owners are talking about pet insurance, health plans and are awaiting booking her in for her vaccinations if all goes well!

Extremely grateful for the reviews π₯Ή It means the world to me that you have such kind words & I know for sure I picked the right homes for all my babies. Im so happy that people are realising that rescue is just as good as buying from a breeder & that they can still be happy and healthy with the right care β€οΈβ€οΈ

31β’12β’25 Beautiful mum Eve (as in NYE π) β€οΈ Found abandoned with her babies in a carrier with an apology note. However, im not focusing on the negatives right now as I'm SUPER HAPPY to say... both mum and son actually have a home to go to tonight, making the end of 2025 amazing for them! β€οΈβ€οΈ

31β’12β’25 Baby Garfield, my little ginger tom. His story is a little rubbish, he was left in a car park with his 2 siblings and his mum, and an apology letter. Im grateful that the owner took them somewhere safe, but its such a shame for them. His 2 siblings have been rehomed today and its now just garfield and his mama left to find their forever home π§‘
Update: Now rehomed with his mum π€©π₯°

12β’12β’25 - My family (parents and brother) recently adopted beautiful Holly, a golden cockerpoo, from pretty horrid conditions. Unfortunately I cannot go into detail currently, but she will only know love from now on π©·
I first met holly through a work alongside a large quanity of other fur babies. If I could have saved them all I would, but unfortunately I dont own a farm (yet) π. Holly was one of the more nervous dogs: didnt know how to walk on a lead, backed away from any noise or initial interaction, but was the sweetest soul. Since she moved in with my family shes remained the same, but the small wins are what makes it all worth it. We've had a few tail waggs! Shes had lots of baths to decrease the urine stench, shes been on walks although tip to avoid if youre in a rush π Shes slowly learning to trust, and that a raised leg doesnt mean physical harm. We've had a few warning nips to my dog, who amazingly ignores her completely, but i sort of expected this. Shes gone from probably never being in a comfortable home before to so many new things, rules and what she is/isnt allowed to do. Holly is only the 2nd adult dog I have managed to help rehome, but damn its a lot of work ππ
As always, I salute any rescues doing this permanently as well as all veterinary staff who help care for the babies. Sometimes I feel they go extremely under appreciated, but who would be here when your dog raides your mince pies! π I hope you all have a lovely christmas and new year πβ€οΈ

14β’11β’25 Baby Gingerbread 𧑠Currently in the vets being treated for diarrhoea. Estimated around 8-9 weeks old, super friendly and very vocal - he knows exactly what he wants! First ginger&white baby too! π₯° Glad I could get this little guy some help and he'll back to normal very soon π₯°
Fortunately I did have a home lined up for him, but i became a little ill and so he got rehomed with somebody else! Im absolutely gutted for the lined up home but glad hes managed to get himself somewhere to go π₯°

14β’11β’25 Jets babies! All look very similar but have very different personalities. Baloo was the only boy and very gentle, willow and echo were both crazy and used to climb my legs and be very vocal, and poppy was very independent but loving. Some of them got a little poorly the week they left so 3 had to be taken back the vets for cat flu treatment / eye ulcers. All were fine but I think jet had brought it back from the 1st trailed home as they started getting poorly the following week. It was very unfortunate, but Im grateful all were treated and all owners were very considerate and understanding! I cant wait to see how they all turn out π©΅

14β’11β’25 My angel Jet π€ Gosh this girl deserved more. Found by a member of the public with newborn kittens in a dog kennel was one thing, then coning to a strangers house (me) to learn to trust somebody with your babies and yourself is already enough. 2 weeks after being with me Jet jumped out of the roof window in my foster room and escaped for 3 days - the most worrying time of my fosterer journey. She sat outside my house or facing for the whole 3 days but was so scared we just couldn't catch her. I felt like the worst person ever - but we got her using a professional cat trap and she was vet checked and safe! (And not pregnant!)). Aftef 9 weeks we finally found her a home - literally the perfect one. She left with a couple after 2 prior visits and id never seen her like that with anyone. They knew she needed time and it seemed ideal, but within 24h she returned due to being so stressed. As soon as she arrived back she ran straight to her kittens (and adopted ones) and lay on the floor to feed them. I realised she just missed another cat and knew she needed to go to a home with one, so up came home 2 with an 8 month old kitten. Its taken weeks for the other cat to accept jet as it usually does, but shes now settled and happy. Most importantly, she is safe β€οΈ

My beautiful Chilli πΆβ€οΈ
Chilli was found taped in a box with her 3 babies and taken to a vets. For weeks she was extremely afraid and would try to attack me if I even looked at her or breathed too loud. I didnt see the babies for 3 weeks up close for her to gain my trust that I wouldn't harm them. I gradually worked on hand feeding, or feeding with close proximity with stroking her as she ate. I ignored the babies completely in hope that when theyd explore she couldn't control all 3 and get me too! It worked! I trapped her to get her a vet check with her babies and warned the staff we'd need extra hands, yet I let her out and she was a new girl. She gave me kisses, the loudest purrs and rubbed herself all over me and the vet. Ive never seen a thankful expression from an animal before, but i cried at the sole look in her eyes that she knew she was safe. It took me 6-7 weeks to gain her trust but man was it worth it. She was by far the most difficult behavioural stray I have ever cared for, but one of the most rewarding (ill post a video in the cat update highlights! β€οΈ). Chilli gained a rescue space when she was spicy, so I kept that for her. Shes been neutered so no more babies (or bad behaviour) and shes awaiting her forever home with her fosterer π
10β’08β’25 Never posted anything like this before but this is the reality of what its like to take on a stray sometimes. It actually really upsets me watching this video, Its actually 1min30 of me trying to sit close and calm her down but to me shes getting worse. I made the video for myself to see if there was anything I can do differently watching from a different angle. Ive had multiple feral cats and kittens before but never a cat displaying protective behaviour towards her babies this heightened. Genuinely breaks my heart to think why shes like this, as I dont believe shes a bad cat. 2 days ago she allowed me to stroke her while eating (not something I would usually do), despite her growling the whole time she allowed it. The first day she ran out and rubbed herself on my leg then immediately hissed and hid her babies again. I feel like im getting nowhere and going backwards.
Gonna take a long time to get her to trust me π₯²

05.08.25 - 2nd litter of strays, dumped in a box probably to die or be somebody elses problem. Mum is absolutely terrified and under no circumstances will let me near the babies. She hasn't left them for a second, keeps them covered from any sign of noise or movement and will hiss / warn you if you get close.
Obviously this little family need space, but its vital I still can get semi near to monitor the kittens as they're quite small, it will just take a lot of time. It breaks my heart that she is even in this situation - shes not been neutered, been left to have kittens then dumped for the inconvenience. I dont blame her for not trusting anybody, maybe there were more kittens or she was mistreated? Its simple to take a cat and even leave them at a vets or outside, not in the middle of the street in bad weather!
Please please pleaaaaase NEUTER YOUR GO*DAMN CATS!!
