Join me on a spiritual journey around the world as we celebrate important festivals from different religions. We will cover 8 festivals in total, spaced approximately 6 weeks apart, although some may be closer together than this, and some further apart to fit in with the correct dates for the festivals.

For each festival you will get 100g of yarn (with the option to add an additional 100g), information on the festival and some extras to help you with your own celebration. Prices start from £22 including P&P within the UK. International postage is possible for an additional cost.

The socks are knitted cuff down with a heel flap and gusset, using 2 different colours of yarn at the same time (stranded / fairisle)

The KAL will begin on 10th October and clues will be released as follows:

Clue 1: 10th October 2016

Clue 3: 16th October 2016
Clue 4: 19th October 2016
Clue 5: 21st October 2016

You will need the following supplies:
• 2 x 200m sock yarn in two different solid colours – these can be any colour you like, my test pair was knitted in black and neon green.
• 2.5mm needles (either mini circulars, long circulars for magic loop, or DPNs)
• Stitch markers (you might not need these if using DPNs or magic loop)
• Darning needle

Introducing my new club - Everlasting Grad Club

Every 2 months I will send you a gradient. You can use these on individual projects or save them up and use them for one big project, for example a blanket - with this in mind each gradient I send to you will "follow on" from your last one in terms of colours.

The first month will also contain a beautiful Large Tallboy project bag from Three Bags Full - ideal for you to store your yarn and your work in progress - and will cost £33.

Subsequent months will be £18.

The theme for June's club was "It's a Bug's Life", colourways were Lord of the Flies, Flutterby and Dragonfly, dyed on merino/bamboo sock which is one of my favourite yarn bases. In addition to the yarn everyone received a beautiful co-ordinating shawl pin from Doodlestop and some bug themed sweeties.

This month's charity was SWAN UK, chosen by Becky at Doodlestop. We raised £144.51 for the charity :-)

I'm taking the summer off due to other commitments, training for the Great North Run and holidays. Yarn club will be back in October.

So I appear to have signed up to the Great North Run. Any donations will be greatfully received :-)
