UPDATE - 3.20PM Thursday
So the rain is covering much of Kent now. This is the second band I showed earlier and just in time for the school run!!!
Its still moving in a north easterly direction.
One thing is its cooled it down a fair amount and freshened up the air!

RAIN UPDATE 1.45pm Thursday
We have some rain over the county now but there is no lightning or thunder I can see in the first band.
The second much bigger band is following this and will impact more of the county.
The second band presently has a small amount of lightning showing up in it but that may dissipate before making landfall, or go the other way and increase as it comes over the sea and hits land.
Keep me updated my lovelies if you get any thunder/lightning and the intensity of the rain, PLUS remember to add where you are.

🌡️ Yellow Heat Health Alert issued as Kent temperatures head towards 30°C
A yellow heat health alert is now in place across Kent and the South East until Monday evening as temperatures continue to climb.
Current forecasts suggest parts of the county could reach around 30°C by the weekend, with Friday looking particularly warm and a small chance of a few thunderstorms developing.
There’s still some uncertainty over how long the heat will last, as slightly fresher air could arrive later on Saturday. However, there’s also a chance the hotter conditions linger into next week.
While many of us will be enjoying a taste of summer, remember to keep an eye on older relatives, neighbours and anyone who may struggle in the heat.
Plenty of water, a bit of shade and taking things easy during the hottest part of the day can make all the difference.
Are you looking forward to the warmer weather, or is 30°C a bit too much for you? ☀️🌡️

⚠️ Kent Weather Update – Thursday Afternoon Weather Alert - Potential Thunder Later ⚠️
A quick heads-up that several weather outlets are now highlighting the potential for thunderstorms to develop across parts of Kent later this afternoon. It is only a LOW RISK presently but it is being talked about.
CHANGE IN TODAYS FORECAST - Today's forecast was prepared last night, and the latest data shows a noticeable change in conditions since then.
While this morning is looking largely fine, the rain risk has increased considerably after lunchtime and is now rated as HIGH for many areas through the afternoon and early evening.
Showers could become heavy and possibly thundery in places, although not everyone will see a thunderstorm. As always with these setups, some locations may stay mostly dry while others could see a sudden downpour.
If you've got washing out this morning, fingers crossed it dries before lunchtime, because this afternoon is now looking a little more wetter than first expected.
I'll continue to monitor the latest updates and will post again if any thunderstorms or heavy rain begin to develop across the county.

KENT POLLEN COUNT 🌿 Thursday: HIGH
Thursday’s pollen levels are high across Kent, with grass and w**d pollen likely to be the main triggers.
Main points:
Grass pollen is high, so hay fever sufferers may notice stronger symptoms during the day.
W**d pollen is moderate, which could make conditions more uncomfortable for those sensitive to w**d pollen.
Tree pollen may still affect some people, but the main focus for Wednesday is the high grass and w**d pollen levels.
Overall, anyone sensitive to grass or w**d pollen may notice symptoms on Wednesday, especially when spending time outdoors.

Good evening all, I need your input!
Over the past few weeks, I've received more and more messages asking for personalised weather forecasts for weddings, garden parties, craft fairs, outdoor events, building projects and gardening work.
I'm always happy to help where I can, but creating a detailed forecast takes time, research and experience.
Unlike a standard weather app, these forecasts are tailored specifically to your location, timings and plans.
I'm considering offering a personalised forecast service for anywhere in the UK for £10.
This would include:
☀️ A detailed forecast for your exact location and date
🌧️ Information on rain risk, temperatures, wind conditions and any weather hazards
📍 A custom weather report
📅 A follow-up update the day before your event in the same level of detail as my daily forecasts
Whether you're planning a wedding, organising a craft fair, arranging garden work or simply need confidence for an important outdoor event, a personalised forecast could help you plan ahead.
Weather can never be guaranteed, and conditions can change quickly, but I'll always provide the most accurate interpretation possible using the latest available data.
I'd love your honest feedback.
Is this a service you would consider using, and do you think £10 is a fair price?

KENT’S 6PM OVERNIGHT OUTLOOK 🌙 MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY – 6AM THURSDAY A warm, humid and cloudy night
Good evening everyone 🌙
Here’s your overnight outlook for Kent, taking us from midnight tonight through to 6AM Thursday morning.
It’s looking like a warm and rather humid night across the county, with temperatures staying unusually high for the time of year, plenty of cloud around and only a low chance of rain through the early hours.
🌙 Overnight picture
Cloud will be widespread overnight, with skies staying mostly cloudy to overcast from midnight through to dawn. Temperatures will remain very mild, sitting around 16°C after midnight and edging closer to 17°C by the early morning, so it will feel quite warm overnight.
🌡️ How it will feel
Despite the light winds, the humid air will make it feel warmer than the actual temperature suggests. Through the night, it may feel closer to around 20–21°C, so it could be an uncomfortable night for sleeping in some places.
🌧️ Rain risk
The rain chance remains low overnight, with no strong signal for rain through to 6AM. Most places should stay mainly settled, although the thick cloud and humid conditions may leave the air feeling rather heavy.
🌅 By dawn
By around 6AM, it should still be warm, cloudy and rather humid across Kent. Temperatures will be around 16–17°C, with light winds and a mild start expected for Thursday morning.
Overnight details
🌡️ Temperature: Around 16–17°C
