I have referred the case of Vickrum Digwa, convicted of the murder of Henry Nowak, to the Court of Appeal.

It is now, rightly, for the court to decide whether to increase the sentence.

No sentence can ever undo the devastation that Henry’s family have suffered, or fill the void left by his loss. But I hope this referral goes some way towards bringing them the justice they so rightly deserve.

Solicitor General refers Vickrum Digwa to Court of Appeal The Solicitor General Ellie Reeves KC has referred the sentence of Vickrum Digwa, convicted of the murder of Henry Nowak, to the Court of Appeal under the Unduly Lenient Sentence scheme.

Extremely pleased and relieved that this Labour Gov is banning social media for under-16s.

As a mum of a pre-teen, it’s the thing that keeps me up at night. I know many of my constituents feel the same. That’s why I called for a ban, and I am delighted we’re implementing one.

Despite the rain, the local community came together for a brilliant street party last weekend and raised £375 for St Christopher's.

Tackling VAWG is my number one priority as Solicitor General. This week I met with Andrea Simon the London's Victims' Commissioner to discuss improving access to justice, strengthening support for victims of VAWG, and tackling court delays.
