🐧 Peninsula Valdés, located on Argentina’s Atlantic coast, is a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its rich biodiversity, especially marine wildlife. In August, the region is in the heart of winter, which makes it one of the best times to visit for wildlife enthusiasts.

Want to know where you should go in July 2026 (or even 2027)?

Try these 9 destinations on for size:

🌄 This is the perfect time to visit off the beaten path regions of Brazil. Take advantage of the dry after the rains by soaking up the sun and take refreshing dips in the lagoons.

🐘 July is the perfect time to explore Botswana, offering ideal conditions for an unforgettable safari. The dry winter season ensures abundant wildlife as animals gather around waterholes.

🛫 Singapore is a year-round destination. In addition to its fairly steady climate of hot and humid, there’s always something going on, even if it’s “just” nightly light and music shows.

🌊 Ready to experience Bali? July is prime time to immerse yourself in its tropical charm! The weather is at its finest, delivering endless sunny days and ideal conditions for beach adventures and mesmerizing sunsets.

🐳 In July, the east coast of Sri Lanka experiences the best sunshine, and even the whales journey to celebrate. The east coast options are more limited than the south, and planning ahead is strongly recommended.

🏮 July is the perfect time of year to visit central Vietnam, which doesn’t see much rain until September and has so much on offer, including the ancient capital of Hue, charming Hoi An town and the sandy beaches and luxury resorts in Da Nang.

🤿 July in the Maldives sees a drop in prices as there is a chance of some rain and overcast moments. But its still a good time for sun and snorkelling (including with manta rays and whale sharks!). The big draw for July is the surfing.

🗺️ The world is becoming more accessible and Central Asia remains one of the final frontiers to explore. With wild desert landscapes, nomadic tribes and medieval caravanserais – tours to Central Asia and on the Silk Road are steeped in culture and history.

June is a month of transition, where two seasons merge seamlessly into one…

🦁 June brings with it an opportunity to embark on a sustainable safari in Zambia, where every footprint is mindful of the delicate balance of nature.

🐢 June is prime wild orang-utan spotting month and the turtles are laying eggs on Selingan Island making it a great time for a full Borneo adventure.

🥾 There comes a time in our travels when we want to explore for part of the day and sit back with our feet up for another part of it. Laos in June is made for that schedule.

🏖️ June is an amazing time to visit Indonesia. The weather is gorgeous, with minimal rainfall and lower humidity, ideal for outdoor activities – beach outings, trekking, wildlife spotting.

⛵️ The temperatures are warm, and the breezes are gentle, enticing you out onto the water for a week of bliss luxury sailing in Greece. In fact, the sea is at her bluest and the islands are luscious.

⚓️ In June, the skies are blue, and days are sunny, but temperatures aren’t scorching, and the crystal-clear Adriatic has warmed up for a dip, making June a great time to island hop to some of the 1000 islands off the coast of Croatia.

🏊️ Slovenia is a paradise for nature lovers, with June’s blue skies and sunny days perfect for mountain hikes, swimming in alpine lakes like Bled, Bohinj, and Kranjska Gora.

🛶 In Iceland, kayak past icebergs and paddleboard through stunning fjords, hike along the famous Laugavegur trail and through the Valley of The Gods.

🌄 We highly recommend visiting St Vincent & The Grenadines during June. A little refreshing rain occasionally is a price we’re willing to pay so you can enjoy these idyllic islands with very few visitors.

🦜 St Lucia’s lush rainforest, cascading waterfalls, mountainous terrain, birdlife and marine reserves make it the perfect Caribbean island to explore.
