We’ve been busy making ceramic matchboxes, ready to package into our signature blue gift boxes for the busy festive season ahead.

When I first came up with the concept of a matchbox diffuser I had no idea how difficult creating a ceramic matchbox would be. It’s a complicated and intricate piece that’s only possible thanks to the skill and expertise of the traditional makers in Stoke-on-Trent who handcraft each and every Gallia Rae matchbox.

Seeing what was once an idea in my notebook come to life is incredibly special. As was taking it to the Amalfi Coast, my nonna’s hometown and the place that inspired both the Gallia Rae aesthetic and our fragrances.

But what makes me smile the most is knowing how many homes across the UK and beyond are enjoying a Pietrina Diffuser in their home. Thank you to everyone who gets in touch and lets me know how much they love their matchbox. I love hearing your stories!
