Praying Mantis announce Time Tells No Lies Tour 2026

English classic rockers Praying Mantis will be celebrating 45th anniversary of their debut album, with a "45th Anniversary - Time Tells No Lies Tour 2026" tour this November! The show will feature timeless songs from their debut album, along with other classic tracks from the band. Joining them will be Swedish band The Riven , proving once again that '70s and '80s rock is alive and well!

Praying Mantis es una de las bandas que se formaron en la conocida NWOBHM, la nueva ola del heavy metal británico, junto a Iron Maiden, Angel witch entre otros muchos, en sus filas pasaron músicos como Dennis Stratton , Clive Burr y Paul Di´anno (ex-Iron Maiden) o Doogie White, formados en 1973 en Londres por los hermanos Chris y Tino Troy que aun siguen en la formación, su debut y el Metal for Muthas junto a Maiden recibió una gran aclamación en el 80, cuentan con 13 discos el ultimo en 2024 y una formación estable desde 2013 con los holandeses Hans in´t Zandt a la batería y John “Jaycee” Cuipers a la voz que se unieron a Andy Burgers en la guitarra y a los hermanos Tino y Chris Troy guitarra y bajo, gozan de un gran reconocimiento dentro del Heavy metal más clásico, la banda estará en el Barcia Metalfest formando un cartel muy variado en su veinte aniversario.

We are very sad to learn that we have lost one of the Mantis faithful. A true gent and great friend, Mr Phil Booth (front left in this photo).

Phil regularly attended our Praying Mantis and Paddy Goes To Holyhead gigs and he will be greatly missed.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to his daughters, Rachael and Chloe.
