Rouge
Situated in Stoke Newington in north east London, Rouge UK offers a broad range of furniture, ceramics, gift and decorative items for the home.
What is this spiky contraption?
Kumiko is here to explain. ❤️
The kenzan is a traditional Japanese tool used for creating beautiful floral arrangements. It literally translates to ‘needle mountain’ or ‘spiky frog’.
To use it, place the kenzan inside a shallow bowl or rimmed dish. Carefully press your flowers and foliage onto the brass needles to build a unique arrangement that appears to defy gravity from a distance.
We have both kenzan and specialised kenzan cleaners available in the shop.
Don’t forget! Once you have finished arranging your stems, add a shallow pool of water to the base of your dish.
Simple and thoughtfully crafted, these little brass incense stands are designed to hold your incense stick upright at a gentle angle, allowing you to enjoy your favourite scents with ease.
They are as decorative as they are practical with a beautiful finish. Perfectly placed on a mantelpiece, windowsill or altar. ❤️
A thoughtful gift for incense lovers, or a small treasure for your own daily rituals.
