One of the answers we hear most often when we ask our students what they love most about the competition is the teamwork it requires 🤝

Asking pupils to work alongside others with differing roles and responsibilities to achieve a shared goal is not only one of the most enjoyable parts of the competition, it's also one of the most valuable - equipping them with the communication and collaboration skills that are valuable and integral to achieving success in industry 🙌

We loved hearing from Charlotte - Machining Apprentice at McLaren - at the STEM Racing UK National Finals 2026 🧡

Taking part in an 'Ask an Alumni' panel discussion, she was joined by fellow alumni Javier of Mercedes HPP and Antoan of Cadillac F1 Team as they shared their insights, experiences, and advice with our current cohort 💡 💫

It was an incredibly inspiring conversation, with Charlotte highlighting that belief in yourself, confidence in your abilities, and an unwavering passion to reach your goals are what truly turn dreams into reality 🙌
