β¨ What are phrasal verbs? β¨
Phrasal verbs are very common in English, but they can be confusing.
They are made from a verb + a small word (like up, on, off, in, or out).
Together, they often mean something different from the verb alone.
For example:
π give up = stop
π look after = take care of someone or something
π run out = have nothing left
Confident speakers use phrasal verbs all the time in daily conversations, TV shows, emails, and at work.
Learning them helps you understand English better and sound more natural when you speak.
