B Side Events is 5 today 🎂!

It all started from this particular gig on 4th July 2019 in my borough as part of the Waltham Forest Borough of Culture initiative. The incomparable arrived from Poland at St Mary’s Church in Walthamstow and blew the roof off amongst the challenging medival walls’ acoustics. It’s been a journey since with so many good people involved!

Winner of the 2023 Herbie Hancock International Jazz Institute Piano Competition, and Chicagoan of the Year in Jazz, young pianist Jahari Stampley brings his Trio to UK for the very first time this autumn. 7th November !

Having watched the trio live a few months back I can tell you, Jahari’s talent and the band’s chemistry between Jahari, his multi-instrumentalist Mum and drummer just has to be experienced first hand. Grab tickets while you can.
