Recently had the best few days in Parma with . We made ravioli (from scratch!) learnt about regenerative farming, and ate a LOT of pasta. Some key thoughts:

- Adidas shoes are still in, if beauty editors are anything to go by (fashion eds pls weigh in)

- Only looks sxc in a hair net
- Davines till I die x (the dry shampoo smells like custard)
- I want to grow my own mint

A selection of September snaps for ya, although the reality is that I’ve been really struggling recently, mentally. I’ve toyed with the idea of sharing this, but I think it’s important to remember that Instagram is a highlight reel.

But yes, since being made redundant from R29 (RIP!) in April, I have been strugggggling with everything: my head, my rent, my work. I’ve been stretching myself thin trying to get enough work to pay my rent, but it’s rough out there right now!

I don’t think people talk enough about how hard it is to survive in journalism without financial backing — it’s a huge barrier to entry and the reason many people leave the industry, and I know a lot of my friends are struggling right now, too. There’s such a diverse pool of talent going to waste because there’s not enough budget for it.
