What we do | Online NHS Trust 03/06/2026

Earlier this week, the Online NHS Trust was formally created, a significant step in how planned NHS care will be delivered from 2027.

The new Trust will let people in England access planned care through the NHS App, connecting them with specialist clinicians anywhere in the country and reducing the need to travel.

John Browett has been announced as inaugural Chair, supported by a group of Non-Executive Directors bringing experience from across the health sector.

For GP practices, this signals a clear direction of travel: the NHS App is becoming the default front door, and patients will increasingly expect their local practice website to work alongside it clear signposting, accessible content, and a digital experience that matches what they get through the App.

How to Choose a GP Practice Website Provider 01/06/2026

The cheapest website quote is rarely the cheapest option over three to five years.

When choosing a website provider for your GP practice, the questions that matter are about hosting location, WCAG compliance, support response times, and what happens when you want to leave.

Paul's new guide covers the criteria that matter, the questions to ask, and the red flags to watch for.

Cookie Consent for GP Practice Websites Explained 26/05/2026

Cookie banners on GP practice websites often look fine but don't meet the legal standard which means data can be collected without permission.

The usual culprits: analytics that fires before consent, a missing or hard-to-find "reject" option, and embedded maps or videos setting their own cookies silently in the background.

Paul and Seb's latest blog explains what compliant cookie consent looks like, where practice sites usually fall short, and how to check yours in a few minutes.

NHS GP Website Contractual Requirements Explained 18/05/2026

Did you know your GP practice website is a regulated channel under the GP contract, not just a marketing tool?

After reviewing hundreds of practice sites, we keep finding the same gaps: missing accessibility statements, buried out-of-hours info, and complaints procedures locked away in PDFs. Each one is a compliance failure CQC inspectors can flag.

Our latest blog covers exactly what your website must include and how to check yours in five minutes.
