The 10K Paddy Fun Run is a joint fundraiser between RESPECT and IYF (UK) taking place on 31st May in Battersea Park. Definitely a night not to be missed!

The run after party is taking place in hidden gem of a venue close by to Battersea Park (this venue must be seen to be believed! There will be live bands, DJ, delicious food, several bars and even disco karaoke thrown into the mix.

We were delighted to welcome the SPAT runners into the Paddy Fun Run last weekend - well done to all of the team for completing their first 10k run!
With help from New Horizon Youth Centre, SPAT was created - a non-profit organisation that uses the power and beauty of running, fitness and nutrition as the motivation behind life changing charity work. SPAT was also formed to challenge and alter the cruel and sometimes ignorant perceptions currently held amongst society towards those less fortunate.
"Young homeless people often lack confidence, motivation and a sense of purpose which negatively affects their mental health" says Dr Alex Dregan, Lecturer in Translational Epidemiology and Public Health. "Exercise represents a key component of lifestyle intervention and would help the homeless community to install a positive/motivational mindset, a potentially effective way to support their rehabilitation."
