This Thursday we are running a FREE DIY cycle maintenance workshop at South Chingford Congregational Church, funded by LB Waltham Forest. Bring your own bike, learn how to check it for faults and make minor repairs/adjustments. Suitable for complete beginners! Tools and basic spare parts are provided. More cycle maintenance training courses..! In addition to our courses at The Pastures Centre we now have a series of workshops at South Chingford Congregational Church. The first one is this Thursday, 20th July at 5.00pm. This is an introduction to cycle maintenance for beginners where you will learn how to remove and replace a wheel, tyre and inner tube and adjust your brakes.

Home Cycle Maintenance:

Spread over three sessions, you will learn all the essential maintenance tasks you need to keep your bike running smoothly, including:

- Bike cleaning and routine maintenance tasks
- Wheel and inner tube removal and replacement
- Puncture repair
- Fault finding / M-Check
- Brake and gear adjustment
- Brake pad replacement
- Brake and/or gear cable replacement

Dr Bike DIY:

Full DIY safety check of your own bike, fault finding and adjustments with the help of a qualified mechanic.

All events are completely FREE of charge, funded by Cycling UK's Big Bike Revival and LB Waltham Forest.
