Ash Class had an exciting and immersive workshop all about Ancient Egypt, where they explored the fascinating world of pharaohs, pyramids, and mummies. Through hands-on activities and engaging storytelling, the children discovered what life was like thousands of years ago.

Exploring Habitats at Holly Lodge 🌿🐾

Willow Class had a fantastic trip to Holly Lodge, where they spent the day discovering all about different habitats and the animals that live in them. From woodland creatures to minibeasts, the children loved exploring, asking questions, and learning through hands-on activities.

It was a wonderful opportunity to take learning outside the classroom and experience nature up close—such a fun and memorable day for everyone! 🌳✨

Four Little Ducklings, One Unforgettable Week!
Last week brought something truly special to our school 🐣💛 We were so excited to watch all 4 of our duckling eggs hatch successfully—4 out of 4! From the very first cracks to seeing them fluff up and find their feet, it was a magical experience for everyone.

The ducklings then spent the week settling into Willow Class, where the children had the opportunity to observe, learn, and care for them up close. It’s been such a wonderful way to bring learning to life!

Oak Class took their learning to new heights with a trip on the London Eye! Inspired by The London Eye Mystery, we followed in Ted and Kat’s footsteps, spotting landmarks, asking questions, and seeing London from a whole new perspective. A wheel-y unforgettable day! 🌆✨

Oak Class stepped back in time as they explored their topic on the Victorians at the National Archives. The children were fascinated to learn about Victorian prisons, even studying an original prison map from Camden! Using their inference skills, they examined real photographs from inside a Victorian prison—discussing what the images showed and what life might have been like for the people in them. 🔍🖼️ The highlight of the day was being handed authentic profiles of child prisoners from the era. The class compared these stories to how children are treated today, sparking powerful conversations about fairness, rights, and how much society has changed. A brilliant, thought-provoking day of history brought to life!

A huge well done to our amazing Year 5 & 6 tag rugby team who took part in today’s Borough Tournament! 🌟
After a challenging start in the morning, they came back fighting after lunch — winning 3 out of 5 games and finishing 2nd in their group! 🥈💪
We’re so proud of their resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day. What a fantastic effort! 👏👏
