Merseyside Dogs Home rehabilitates stray dogs to help them support people in need. To help rehabilitate and rehome lost and abandoned dogs.

To use animal aided intervention to help those suffering isolation, loneliness and suffering from mental illness. To help stop abandonment of stray dogs by the education of owners and increasing awareness of the benefit dogs can bring to individuals and society.

Mario, a stray dog found on Crown Street Park on the 12th May 2022 is the most recent addition to our team of emotional support dogs.

He will be out next week in Sefton Park on our Walk & Talk programme.

Thank you to everyone that showed an interest in Duke, he has now found his forever home and settling in.

You mat recall he was found straying on the 17th January and been with us over 100 days before finding his special place
