All the new 2026 Harris Tweed scarves are on the website, both for trade and retail customers. No price increase for the moment.

Thanks to everyone who came by my stand at the SEC earlier this week, to organisers and to the other fantastic makers .co.uk and for being the best ever stand neighbour. Now to get back to the sewing machine.

Day one at Scotland’s trade show you can’t miss us right at the front!

Coming to and new to trade customers are my gorgeous map notebooks. The notebooks are made from excess fabric when the map scarves are printed in Macclesfield. The fabric is cut by our team in Edinburgh to show the best bits of the maps then sen to in Reading who get them made in India by an ethically sustainable business, into beautiful silk backed notebooks. A5 with plain paper, we’ve got lots of cities! Over 24 in fact!

You can see them on stand CG02 from 18-20 January. Don’t worry if you’re a trade buyer and won’t be there, send me a message and I’ll send you some details.

Great trip to the fabulous .mill.fabrics on Ridley Road in London. I’ve bought from their superb and efficient mail order service before. The shop is something else. Friendly and knowledgeable service and well worth the trips I bought some luscious silk dupions for lavender bags.
