We have decided to run another home education group starting Thursday 25th June through to 23rd July.
It will run for 5 weeks and is £20 a session. All materials are included in the price and we will be covering hand sewing and sewing machine projects. The classes are suited for age +7 years and will run from 12.30-2.30pm.

Yesterday evening the lovely Laura had her first one to one session after attending 2 group classes. She wanted to make a pencil case for her creativity brownie badge. She even had time to fill a bobbin, practice her straight lines and embroidery stitches and even make a book mark. Well done Laura 🥰❤️

At the moment I’m busy behind the scenes coming up with a new workshop idea everyday. Today’s is fabric couching embroidery! This was honestly so fun today and I’m really pleased with the final outcome!
Who wants to see it as a workshop soon?! ❤️🌸

I’ve been a busy bee again today making more reusable face wipes! ❤️ They come in sets of 4 and made from cotton fabric and bamboo cotton flanneling fabric. Can be made to order and can be posted out. ❤️

I’ve definitely got too much time on my hands at the moment.. I’ve made myself a positivity frog to take to dialysis with me 😂🙃🐸

Hemodialysis 🩸💉🏥
Whilst going through hemodialysis I wanted to share some information on what it actually is and does. I find it all pretty interesting, so you guys also might.
🩸Hemodialysis is a life-saving treatment for kidney failure that removes waste and extra fluids from the blood.
🩸 It keeps safe levels of minerals in your blood, such as potassium, sodium, calcium, and bicarbonate. I still follow a low salt, low potassium, low cholesterol and low phosphate diet.
🩸It helps regulate blood pressure. (Mine has been in normal range since starting, it hasn’t been for years!)
🩸When on Hemodialysis it can completely stop your need to p*e. Therefore you are given a fluid restriction. I am only allowed 1 litre of fluid a day. Which is easily one of the hardest things I’ve had to do.
🩸The long piece of equipment to the right of me is called ‘The kidney’ it’s basically acting as my new kidney!
Both my kidneys are currently at 3% function, without dialysis 3 times a week I wouldn’t be alive. It’s not fun to do and can make you feel pretty rough, but it’s amazing there is something out there to keep me going! ❤️

✨ I now have some availability for new one to one beginner sessions! ✨
My one to one sessions take place in my creative craft room in Orrell Park and are suitable for ages 6+ through to adults.
Sessions are usually 1.5 hours long, but I can also offer 1 hour sessions or extended 3 hour sessions.
I can support complete beginners through to more experienced learners, covering everything from hand sewing to using a sewing machine.
I have over 17 years of experience and have been teaching through my own business for the last 10 years. I am fully DBS checked, safeguarding trained, first aid trained and hold a degree in Textiles.
One to one sessions can be especially beneficial for children with SEN, or for anyone who learns better in a more personalised environment. Private tutoring offers:
