That’s a wrap from the CIPD Festival of Work 👋

It’s been a brilliant two days connecting with so many people who are passionate about creating healthier, more productive workplaces.

We loved welcoming you to our stand K13 – whether you popped by for a chat, joined in with our activities, or explored practical ways to support health and wellbeing at work.

One of the highlights was sharing our latest white paper, From perks to prevention. It sparked some great conversations about how work has changed – and why our approach to workplace health needs to change too.

We also had some excellent discussions around our Managing occupational health and wellbeing course, and how it can help build the skills and confidence needed to create thriving workplace cultures.

Our session ‘Safe to stay? Developing leaders to build psychological safety at work’ was another standout moment. A big thank you to everyone who joined Dr Shaun Lundy and Dr Christopher Davis for such an engaging and important conversation around psychosocial risk and psychological safety.

Most of all, it’s been fantastic to hear so many thoughtful perspectives and see a real shared commitment to making positive change 💬

Thanks to everyone who came to speak with us – we look forward to continuing the conversation!

Our session ‘Safe to stay? Developing leaders to build psychological safety at work’ sparked a really important conversation around how we create workplaces where people feel safe to speak up, share ideas and be themselves at the CIPD Festival of Work.

Led by IOSH President Elect Dr Shaun Lundy and Thought Leadership Manager Dr Christopher Davis, the discussion explored how managing psychosocial risks – the factors that can cause psychological harm – is key to building truly supportive and open workplace cultures.

Some of the takeaways included:
✅ Psychological safety is something both Health and Safety and HR/People teams are actively trying to get right, so it benefits from a joined‑up approach.
✅ Psychosocial hazards become much easier to spot when you use OSH frameworks, they give you a clear way to break things down.
✅ Building a safer culture starts with understanding those risks, so organisations can take practical steps toward a supportive workplace.

It was great to see so many of you getting involved and sharing your thoughts 💬
