Injection clinic this morning administering Monovisc.
Monovisc is a high-concentration single injection containing hyaluronic acid.
It can be used as a treatment to relieve joint pain caused by injuries such as osteoarthritis.
It works by lubricating and cushioning the knee joint to reduce pain, with effects lasting up to 6 months.
Injections like these are designed for patients who have not responded to conservative therapy i.e. physio.

Will had a hyaluronic acid shoulder injection to aid his recovery from a shoulder injury,
