Started with a group of like-minded people with an ethos of playing music to get your body shaking and grooving. Alongside our core group of resident DJs, we provide opportunities to other up and coming DJs in the area.

SUBVISIONS, Darren Gibbons and Vincent Gallagher are the dynamic duo behind the electronic music group that formed in 2022, based in Leeds, UK. The two artists come together to bring their passion and love for rave music. Blending different styles with a strong influence from the 90's electronic dance music scene. Working with genres like Acid House, Deep House, Hard House and much more. They aim to recapture the essence of that era and bring that sound into modern day. Their music is a tribute to the timeless classics of electronic dance music and the artists who paved the way for the genre. SUBVISIONS innovative approach, creates unique and unforgettable music that is both fresh and familiar. The duo's infectious energy and passion for the music is evident in their performances, which are known for their high energy, electrifying atmosphere and wild original visuals. Also having created several self made high concept music videos that have taken off online. They have had music played on on radio, as well as downloaded by Joris Voorn, Richie Hawtin, GAWP, Paco Osuna, Joseph Capriati, and SUAT, amongst other leading DJs. With releases on Blanco Y Negro Music, Marylebone Records and G Mafia Records.

Funkt! presents Shiny Disco Balls at Distrikt Bar Leeds

Shiny Disco Balls is back at one of Leeds’ best underground music venues Distrikt!. We start off in the outdoor courtyard from 7pm-10pm then inside from 10pm-close.
We will serving up a huge slice of Disco and House music from original dance floor classics to current Nu Disco and House and the best of everything from the years in between. Expect amazing music and warm, welcoming vibes from the Funkt! crew and DJs performing.
