These earrings are a fail..honestly. I fired them too hot in the first firing which meant that glazing was a challenge. 😬 There is so much to learn about ceramics and I am an eager inpatient newbie 🤣 however I am loving this process and learning every day!

When you’ve run out of money for the last bit of finishing decor, what are you to do? Make your own printed paper bunting and another little lampshade of course 🙂 Now ready to welcome you to my wee cosy space and have fun helping you to get creative 🎨🖌️

The wee daffodils in Fletchers terrarium began to bloom and it made us so happy to see signs of spring like this 🌼 Good friends of ours became our first customers yesterday and we had such a lovely time painting pottery and testing out colours 🎨 The bothy has been given a paint refresh all over in some lovely spring shades and with new table cloths, cushions etc it’s almost finished. Just awaiting delivery of a new bigger table 🙂 Next to tackle is the summer house which will get a similar refresh and then be set up as a cosy space for parties and groups eg hen do’s. Tell your friends! 🙏 Hubby helped me put up my new swallow mobile, which was a birthday present to myself and I’m so delighted with it! It has meaning for me, reminding me to stop sitting in the hedges and reach higher … and lastly I took the plunge and went decaf and I have to say it feels good. Less ‘jittery’ and no more silly caffeine related headaches. Also saw this mug and had to have it - it’s so like Banjo doggy and it makes me smile every time I hold it 🙂🐾
