If I’m unable to fit you in, I’ll happily help connect you with some fantastic local instructors 😊
I strongly recommend booking your lessons as soon as you know you’ll need them — especially for younger drivers who are turning 17, as those slots fill very quickly.
You’re welcome to book lessons in advance and pay closer to the time 😊 There’s no risk in securing your space early!

Donna has been a great asset to us at ATB South Wales over the past year.
Donna was a credit to help train to become a fully qualified instructor & continued to thrive every day, she has put in so much work to become the best instructor that she is today & has helped so many learners get through their driving tests, we’ve had many amazing reviews from learners about Donna & she will be missed by us all at ATB!💚
We have no doubt that Donna will continue the success with her own driving school 🥂

News Update 🚗✨

Today is my last day with Around The Bend Driving School.

For the past two years, I’ve been trained and mentored into becoming a fully qualified driving instructor — something I will always be incredibly grateful for. During that time, I’ve made some wonderful friends and had the privilege of helping so many students gain their licences. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.

From tomorrow, I will officially be going independent and launching DL Davies School of Motoring.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to Leah, Sharon and Ryan for their guidance, for letting me bend their ears, and for putting up with all my stress through the qualification process. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to become an instructor and for believing in me.

I also want to thank my husband Tony for his constant support, for putting up with the long days, the revision stress, and for encouraging me to follow this career path.

And a very special thank you to my daughters for supporting me, cheering me on, and understanding when Mum needed to study or was feeling the pressure. Your encouragement means more than you know.

I’m so excited for this next chapter and look forward to continuing to help my current and future pupils gain their independence. And a big thank you to all my previous students for trusting me to be your instructor — it’s been an absolute pleasure.

And a huge shout out to Kirstyn and Megan for being my brave guinea pigs for my Part 3 test — without you two, I wouldn’t be qualified today! Thank you for trusting me and sticking with me through it.
