We’ve started this week with a return to an existing client to carry out further repointing work on their home.

A full rake out and repoint with a cement based mortar was completed by our team, making a complete transformation.

We’re now finished up on our most recent job, completing the final elevation of repointing.

We stripped both sides of the roof, installed a breathable felt and new laths before reinstating the original slates. We also raked out and repointed the chimney and fully raked out and repointed the front and rear elevations of the property with a lime mortar.

Lots of progress made on our current job, the first elevation has now been completed, and a full rake out and repoint with a lime mortar has been carried out by our team.

On the second elevation the raking out has been fully completed and the repointing is nearly finished.

Our most recent project we’ve been working on for the past week.

We’ll be carrying out a full rake out and repoint with a lime mortar of both the front and rear elevations of this property, as well as the chimney.

We’ll also be stripping back the entire roof due to the old back pointing falling out over the years causing water ingress. We’ll be installing a breathable felt, new laths and adding insulation to bring it up to current building regulations before reinstating the original slates.

We have already completed the first side of the roof as well as raking out the rear elevation and the chimney.
