Healing doesn’t always begin with having all the answers.
Sometimes, it begins with understanding that the ways we learned to survive were never character flaws, they were coping strategies. 🤍
The patterns, reactions, and behaviours you judge yourself for today may have once been the very things that helped you get through difficult moments. Recognising that with compassion, rather than criticism, can be the start of real change.

Could this be your time to start? 💭
To understand your story, not judge it.
To shift the patterns that keep repeating.
To feel more in control of your present — and your future.
You don’t need to have all the answers.
Just a willingness to begin.

Let’s talk about workplace wellbeing 👇🏼
Not the performative kind.
Not the yoga-Friday kind.
The real kind.
Workplace wellbeing means:
🧠 Psychological safety — where mistakes can be owned, not hidden
💬 Open conversations — not silent suffering
📉 Early intervention — not waiting until someone burns out to offer support
👥 Leadership buy-in — not outsourcing wellbeing to a one-off workshop
When workplace wellbeing is real, it shows.
Not just in reduced absence or retention rates—though those come too.
But in energy. In honesty. In trust. In people actually wanting to stay.
Wellbeing at work isn’t a luxury. It’s a foundation.
And when we invest in that foundation, everything changes.
At Ignite Teams, I help workplaces create meaningful mental health support—from 1:1 therapy for staff, to training that actually sticks, to strategic consultancy that gets under the surface of team challenges.
📩 Want to build something better? Let’s talk.

✨ Introducing Ignite Teams ✨
Real support for your people. Real change in your workplace.
I created Ignite Teams because I saw a gap between what staff needed and what workplaces were offering.
Wellbeing initiatives often fall into two camps:
→ Tick-box solutions that look good on paper
→ One-off training that fades without real impact
What’s missing?
Support that’s honest, ongoing, and actually works.
At Ignite Teams, I help organisations create cultures where staff feel safe, seen, and supported to thrive—through the challenges, not just around them.
Here’s what Ignite Teams offer:
💬 1:1 Therapy for Staff
Private, accessible, evidence-based therapy sessions for individuals in your team. No more waiting lists. No stigma. Just real support, when it’s needed most.
🧠 Tailored Workshops & Trainings
No one-size-fits-all. We design bespoke sessions to meet your team’s real-world challenges—covering emotional resilience, stress, trauma, boundaries, and more.
🧭 Management Consultations
For leaders who want to support staff but aren’t sure where to start. We help you identify what’s really going on, and guide you toward meaningful solutions—not just surface fixes.
⚡️Why it matters:
When staff feel safe, performance improves.
When leaders feel supported, retention improves.
When you invest in mental health, everyone wins.
If you want to build a workplace where people feel seen and stay longer—start here.

👇🏼 5 signs you might be in survival mode (and not even realise it):
We often associate survival mode with chaos or crisis. But for many people, it looks much quieter — and much more chronic.
Here are some subtle signs you may be stuck in survival mode 👇🏼
😴 You wake up already feeling exhausted. Even if you’ve slept, your mind feels foggy, your body feels heavy, and everything feels like too much.
😕You’re emotionally flat… or on edge. You find it hard to connect to joy, and even small setbacks trigger frustration or overwhelm.
🤷♀️You struggle to make simple decisions. Choosing what to eat, replying to a message, or prioritising tasks feels impossible.
✔️You live in ‘just get through it’ mode. You’re ticking boxes, meeting deadlines, doing the things—but you’re not living, you’re just coping.
😷Your body is showing the strain. Digestive issues, tension headaches, muscle pain, or clenching your jaw are all physical ways your nervous system says: I’m not safe yet.
Survival mode is a brilliant short-term response to stress. But when we get stuck there for too long, it affects our health, our relationships, and our sense of self.
Therapy offers a space to pause.
To process what’s happened, build tools for regulation, and move from just surviving to truly living.
If this post resonates, you're not alone—and you're not broken. This is what healing can begin to shift.

A dysregulated brain can’t integrate insight – only survive.
That’s why the first stage of therapy is always safety.
We’re not avoiding the hard stuff – we’re preparing your system to handle it ✨

Therapy doesn’t just help you feel better.
It helps your brain rewire itself.
This is called neuroplasticity – your brain’s ability to form new pathways.
🌱 Every time you challenge an old thought
🌱 Every time you practise a new coping strategy
🌱 Every time you feel safe in a new way
…you’re literally reshaping how your brain works.
The old survival loops? They fade.
The new, calm ones? They strengthen.
That’s the science behind lasting change.

When you’re under stress, your brain doesn’t prioritise accuracy – it prioritises survival.
That means it might:
❌ Jump to worst-case scenarios
❌ Assume others are thinking the worst of you
❌ Turn a small mistake into “I’m a failure”
These thoughts feel true, but they’re often stress-patterns – not reality.
In therapy, we learn to spot these brain-based distortions and create calmer, kinder thinking habits.
