Earlier this year I got sent through a Korean translation of my book, Big Book of Feelings. It's been so cool to see what the reaction has been like, and how they market books over there.

One reviewer called it 'an emotional dictionary'. Which I'll defo be stealing from here on in. We also changed the title to 'NOISY EMOTION ZOO'. Sounds like a very cool band you'd hear on six music.

I started carving out the korean alphabet, but the print deadline was looming. Maybe they'll come in handy for something else!

Today is the launch of Big Book of Feelings in Paperback! Pick one up from all the usual places. I'll be putting out more info about my second book in the coming weeks, along with more dates for potato printing workshops!

IT'S PUBLICATION DAY!

My debut picture book, Big Book of Feelings, is now out in the wild in both the UK and US.

It was really lovely to launch the book in Crouch End (I lived on green lanes for eight years - slowly eating my way through all of the kebab shops), and in Folkestone - where I've been living for the last 2 years. More on that for another time.

I gave a little speech last week - and I mean every word of it. It would have been impossible to make this book without the help of

Along the way, helped champion my work back in 2018, which feels like a lifetime ago.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, thank you for supporting all of my silly ideas over the last however many years I've been doing this.

The 12th October is Independent Bookshop Day, and to celebrate, I'm running another potato printing workshop for families.

Potato Printing Workshop for Families.

Learn how to potato print a variety of different animals using pre-cut shapes.

⏳Workshop lasts 45-60 minutes
🎨 All materials will be provided
🧑👶 Adult supervision is required throughout
🥔 Potato shapes are pre-cut (no knives or carving)
👑 Wear appropriate clothing for messy activities
🔢 Suitable for ages 5+
🎟 Pay what you like (from £5 upwards)

All artwork can be taken home, or picked up the next day once dry. Please send through your animal suggestions for potato-printing through the contact page.

Limited spaces available (we can squeeze 12-14 children around the big table), so please book early to avoid disappointment - the last session sold out very quickly!
