Hi there, my teenage son has had long hair virtually all his life. We are struggling to find a hairdressers or barbers both of which we have sampled many times that can cut/shape male long hairstyles and find ourselves spending a fortune on disaster after disaster. [07/18/21]   Good afternoon. With restriction changing tomorrow regards to mask wearing we have decided that we will no longer wear masks but if you still wish to wear one we will be happy to wear one with you. Also what would be a great help is to take a lateral flow test before your appointment just to be safe. We take Lf test regularly as we have school children. Many thanks for all your support over the years particularly the last year and half. Also we will do the raffle very soon. This has been delayed due to short staff over the last month. Good morning everyone! Well we are all excited about opening on 12th April. This still isn't a definite date, the government will confirm 1 week beforehand but we are all keeping our fi gers crossed it will go well.
We are all still home schooling till the 8th March so we will start planning from then so please be patient with us. If you think we don't have your contact details please message us. Monday 12th April is also the second week of Easter holidays so childcare maybe an issue with the amount of hours we work that week.
We may also need to patch test everyone agai due to vaccine or having covid but we will let you no more about this soon. I hope you are all as excited as we are πŸ₯³

[01/05/21]   Hi everyone. We start the 3rd lockdown today hoping all of our lovely clients, friends and families are still safe and well. This may be the toughest one yet, we have all had enough, its cold and miserable, we are all missing friends and loved ones. 😞
However, we are hopeful that this is the last lockdown. 😊🀞
We have no idea when salons can open. As soon as we do we will be in touch, we were pleased we could see nearly all of you in really good time after each lockdown 😁
We feel very lucky knowing that when we can open, we will have a business to go back to.πŸ’–πŸ’–

[12/23/20]   As of Boxing day we will be in tier 4, so we will be closed until further notice. It has been lovely seeing you all throughout December, it has been a challenge for us to catch up with those who missed out in the November lockdown, as well as keeping all of the December bookings that were made in advance. The support and loyalty you have given to us has been amazing this is why we have worked around the clock to make sure we could see as many of you as we can.
We know who is due in over the next few weeks and we are really sad that we do not have the time to get these people in.

[12/20/20]   Good morning to all our lovely clients! As you all know all our tiers have changed again! I (vicky) have been moved to tier 4. Luckily I am still allowed to travel for work, but unfortunately if you live in a tier 4 area we are not allowed to do your hair in the salon until the tiers come down again😒 hopefully we will find out soon when this will be. If you feel to uncomfortable coming into the salon with all these new changes please get in contact with us, we will fully understand. Please stay safe everyone. [11/24/20]   Excellent news, we can re open on the 2nd December to get you all looking lovely in time for Christmas πŸŽ„ πŸ₯³πŸŽ…
Many of you booked your December appointments early, unfortunately we may have to reschedule some of these appointments. We are doing our best to ensure we can accommodate all of you and we thank you all so much for your continued understanding.
We are still limited to 2 stylists working at a time and only have room for a limited number of clients at any one time, we are confident we will see you all πŸ₯° We will be in touch with you all over the next week to confirm your appointments. Xx
Infection numbers are increasing in our areas so we need to remain vigilant. Please if you feel unwell, have any covid symptoms, or you have been contacted by track and trace, let us know so we can reschedule your appointments.

[08/14/20]   😷😷Just an update for all our lovely clients, you must all wear FACE COVERINGS to your appointment now. If you are exempt, please could you speak to your stylist prior to your appointment, we will be able to provide a card to display on our section for you stating you are exempt from wearing a covering. 😊From 15th August, we as stylists will now be wearing our visors with as mask. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact the salon or your stylist. We hope you're all keeping well and have enjoyed being back in the salon and feeling more human now you've had you're all important hair appointment!
Again, we are still on a reduced working pattern so messages being passed to one another via the salon are taking a little longer than usual but rest assured we will be in contact if you have left a message with us ❀️

There will be quite a few changes to the way we do things so here is what you can expect...

βœ‚οΈYour stylist will contact you to make an appointment.
😷Before your appointment you will need to confirm that you do not have any Covid-19 symptoms and that you have not been advised to stay at home by Track and Trace or that you should be shielding.
πŸ€’ Your stylist will take your temperature at the door with an infrared thermometer, anyone with a temperature of 38C or higher will be advised to return home and another appointment will be made for them.
😊Please do not arrive too early to your appointment, overcrowding will comprise social distancing. We will keep the door closed and invite you in when we arr ready.
πŸ˜•We must ask clients not to move around the salon unless we ask you to.
πŸ˜•Please do not bring a friend to your appointment, we are unable to let non-essential visitors in. If you require assistance from a carer or family member please tell your stylist prior to booking so they can book your appointment appropriately.
😊Clients must place their belongings in the area provided for them.
😊 Only the service that has been booked can be carried out. Unfortunately we are unable to squeeze extras in due to our strict schedule.
πŸ˜• Services will be restricted for a while to reduce time spent with each client.
πŸ˜”We are currently unable to offer blow dries.
πŸ˜”We cannot offer refreshments or magazines. You can bring a drink and something to read, we must ask you not to bring food.
πŸ™‚ Contactless payments are preferable, your stylist can give you details for bank transfers. If you prefer to pay by cash or cheque please place it in a sealed envelope with your name on it. We are unable to give change or handle money in the salon.
😊We will also be taking our temperatures daily, if we are advised to self isolate by Track and Trace we will do so. We will contact clients to rearrange.

We love the friendly buzzing atmosphere in the salon, it will be so strange not not being able to wonder over to each others clients for a chat or offer drinks.
Some of these rules are not our preferred way of working but they are for the safety of all of us. We look forward to the day we can have the friendly buzzing atmosphere we are all used to.

Lastly, none of our children are back at school and child care is an issue. Our hours may not be as flexible as before. We are working as hard as we can to contact you all and get you all in as soon as we can.

Just another update for you...
We believe we can re open on Saturday 4th July 🎊😊.
We have a good idea of what measures we will need to take in order to keep ourselves and everyone else safe and well, unfortunately we still have not recieved the official advise just yet.
Anyone living locally may have passed by and noticed we have been busy preparing for our reopening 😊
We are planning our hours, none of our children are back at school so we are working really hard to ensure we can share hours fairly between us.
We will contact our clients personally to arrange appointments as soon as we know what hours/days we can do 😊
We have all worked out who was due in the week lockdown started. We have most people's numbers. Please be patient with us and we will be in touch with you all soon.

[05/23/20]   Hello lovely people. We hope you are all staying safe and well 😊 This is a long one!
A bit of an update for you. At this moment it looks like we may be allowed to re open on the 4th July. This is great news. 🎊😊 This is the date if the other phases of lockdown work. If not it could be longer. We all hope it works!
The health and safety measures are going to be strict. We have not recieved anything official yet but the Governing body for the hair and Beauty industry along with other advisory services are continually releasing advise for us to consider. Based on this information we are working on our plan to re open.
We are all still unsure about when our children can go back to school, this will be a factor when we plan our hours. We are working towards a plan where 2 stylists can work at the same time.

So, here is some of the guidance we have seen so far,

😷 Anyone who has been advised to shield must continue to do so.

😷 Temperatures should be taken with an infa red thermometer before entering the salon.
Anyone who has a temperature should not come into the salon.

😷 If anyone has symptoms or lives in a house where someone has symptoms or the virus they should cancel their appointment and rearrange.

😊 All Clients will be contacted by their stylists to arrange appointments.
πŸ™„ Appointments should be kept as short as possible. We are confident we will be allowed to carry out colour services, we may just have to keep it simple initially. If you have had a hair disaster 😭 we ask you to be open with your stylist when they book your appointment so that they can allow the right length of appointment for you.

😷 The stylists will not be able to answer the salon phone or have the phone passed to them. Our lovely Holly πŸ₯° will be able to answer calls during the day and take messages, she will not be able to book appointments because we will all have our own individual appointment books. She can inform us of any cancellations.

😷 PPE will be worn at all times by clients and stylists.
πŸ˜ͺ All magazines and toys should be removed from the salon.

😷 Clients should attend the salon on their own, clients that need a carer to bring them should let their stylist know so they can make plans for social distancing from other clients.

πŸ˜ͺ We are unsure if we can provide refreshments even in disposable cups. If we are unable to provide refreshments you may be able to bring your own.

😨🧐 This is speculation and we sincerely hope this will not happen. In some countries salons are not allowed to blow dry hair. There is nothing more rewarding to us all than to see our lovely clients leaving the salon looking and feeling fabulous.

😷 We don't know if we can accept cash or cheque payments. It may be acceptable for a cash payment if you have the exact money. We will keep you informed of this and your stylist will confirm the cost and payment method with you before your appointment.


We are sociable creative people by nature, we love the buzzing atmosphere in our salon. We want to keep it as friendly and as personable as possible without compromising the health and safety of our team and clients.

Hi everyone, we hope you are all safe and well. So, tonight we hoped for some clarification on what comes next. We believe clarification for each industry will be set out over the next few weeks and we will be watching closely 🧐
We think the status of our industry will be raised at tomorrow's Q&A daily Covid briefing. We are following the Hair and Beauty governing bodies advise, hopefully very soon we will have a safe plan to re open.
We believe we are somewhere between shops and hospitality. The safety of our team and amazingly loyal clientele will always come first 😘
We will continue to watch out for further details and advise. Obviously we are very keen to see you all but we will not risk anyones health in the process.

[05/07/20]   Hi everyone, we hope you are all safe and well. We wait eagerly to hear how lockdown will be eased and when we are able to return to work. There is much speculation about the measures we will need to put in place. We will wait to hear the official advise.
Unfortunately we believe we may not all be able to work all together in the salon at the same time for a while 😰 it will be impossible to maintain social distancing. We have discussed the idea of opening 7 days a week including evenings to accommodate all of our lovely loyal clients.😊
We also wait to hear if and when the schools will re open, this is key to us planning our hours. As soon as we know what hours each of us will be able to work we will contact each of our clients to arrange appointments.
We will keep you all up to date with the details of re opening, including the extra measures we will have to put in place.😷
