We’re excited to be recruiting a Deputy Head of Boarding! This role involves working closely with our boarding tutors, including overnight duties, and working with Grace to strengthen leadership capacity as our boarding community continues to grow.

Spring is in the air at EMS and it was great to see the Gardening Club back in action at lunchtime today 😎

The deadline for applications for the Teacher Internship 2026 is on Sunday 22nd February. Current second, third or final year undergraduate and masters students studying a STEM (including DT) or Modern Foreign Language subject can apply.

Teaching

Our second Festival of Culture was a huge success on Monday evening. Students from EMS and Exeter College Reach Academy worked really hard to showcase their cultures, pastimes and talents — with the performances downstairs at standing room only!

Interns can earn up to £1,365 for taking part in the three week programme.

We're delighted to announce that we have been approved by the DfE to run the Paid Teacher Internship Programme again in 2026!

This is open to current STEM and MFL undergraduates and masters students considering a career in teaching and would like to give it a try.

Interns can earn up to £1,365 for taking part in the programme.
