Embark Exeter - Canine-Assisted Therapy

Hi everyone!
We’ve been very quiet over the last few months - personal and business demands have been our focus.
But - what better way to return than to announce that Charli has passed her Pets As Therapy assessment!
She has already been meeting clients in practice to see how she behaved, and it turns out she’s a natural!
A fully-fledged therapy dog ❤️ A year ago she was in rescue, after she had been dumped after she outlived (at 2 years old) her usefulness as a breeding bitch.
What a journey she’s been on!

On the edge of Isca Dumnoniorum, there is a land of leafs…

We have hidden a very special envelope for someone to find. Inside is a voucher for a wonderful treat box for you to claim for your dog.

To celebrate Ted’s return to work after cruciate ligament replacement surgery in December, we’re taking part in Random Act of Kindness Day on 17th February 2025.

We’ve been a bit quiet of late, but we have some exciting news…
Ted has an adopted sister, who came home just over a week ago!
Her name is Charli, and she’s a petite chow chow aged 2 years. We drove to near Llandeilo in Carmarthenshire to meet her, and brought her home the following day.
She’s very sweet and gentle, presenting herself for fuss and cuddles.
I’m looking forward to gradually introducing her in to my practice.

I saw this and thought it was just so sweet.
My Mum liked Elmo too.

Happy 8th Woofday to the legend that is Ted. The goodest boi and my amazing colleague. I am so grateful for the day we met you 🐾🐾❤️

10th October is World Mental Health Day.

I’ve had this key ring since I started working in counselling, and it finally broke 😞
