Placing theMselves in a weird part of the indie rock world, First Person can be seen doing everything a bit differently. Taking what seems to be a huge inspiration from Artists such as King Gizzard And The Lizard wizard, Mac demarco and The Growlers. The band records and produces everything you see in their bedroom. Often utilising weird and cheap bits of musical gear, First Person provides you with anything from tape warble to blown out 1 watt amplifiers, covered in wah and drip reverb.

In the beginning First Person formed when Benjamin Fowler (vocalist/guitarist) and Joe Jenner (bassist) began playing with uni friends, Ben Glass (Guitarist) and Jordan Morris (drummer), forming the first line up. This saw the band play multiple shows over the year of 2019 in their hometown Exeter, including gigs at their local Cavern club and Exeter phoenix. However work pressure began to slow momentum down, leading to Ben to take the reins of the project and delve into the Psychedelic, Bedroom rock centred approach that is apparent over all of their tracks.
