🎣 Yesterday Exeter Round Table joined forces with Honiton Round Table and Exeter 41 Club for our annual mackerel fishing trip from Teignmouth.

Safe to say… there was more fishing than catching this year 😅🎣 The mackerel clearly got the memo.

Thankfully the day wasn’t lost — we fired up the BBQ on the back beach and made sure nobody went hungry with burgers and sausages all round 🍔🌭

A brilliant day catching up, getting out on the water and enjoying good company (even if the fish weren’t cooperating!).

If you fancy getting involved — or know someone who might — drop us a DM. Exeter Round Table is for men aged 18–45 looking to meet new people, try new things and get involved locally.

It's easy to focus on the fun side of Round Table - and there really is plenty of fun 🚲 🛶 ⛰️

But behind the socials, the laughs and the memories being made, there's real impact happening every single week around the country.

💙 Up to £4 million raised for charity annually
🕐 157,000 hours volunteered every year
🤝 Supporting local, national and even international causes
🍻 And countless moments of fulfilment, friendship and doing something different

Because Round Table isn't just about having a good time (although we're exceptionally good at doing that...). It's about making a real difference to your community, and to yourself.

New experiences.
New mates.
A fresh sense of purpose.

Turns out doing good feels pretty good!

🎅 It might only be May… but planning is already underway for the Exeter Round Table Santa Float! 🎄

Last night we met down on Exeter Quay for one of our first planning meetings as we start preparing for Christmas 2026.

We’re excited to say that next year’s Santa Float will be BIGGER and BETTER than ever, with a new format, some brand new locations, and of course the return of some familiar favourites too! 🚛✨

There’s still plenty more to reveal, and we’ll be sharing further details closer to the festive season.

In the meantime, if you’re a local business and would like to support or sponsor the Exeter Round Table Santa Float, we’d love to hear from you — please get in touch! 🤝

🔵 Want to get involved with Exeter Round Table? We’re always looking for new members who want to make a difference locally, meet new people, and have a good laugh while doing it. Drop us a DM to find out more! 🍻

Last night members of Exeter Round Table and Exeter 41 Club headed to Bomba in Exeter for a brilliant Blues, Beers & Burgers night 🍔🍻🎸

The music was provided by the hugely talented Adam Sweet, whose incredible blues guitar and powerful vocals made for a fantastic atmosphere all evening. A top-class performance and definitely one to see live if you get the chance!

Great food, great company, and a great night all round.
If you’d like to join us at our next social event, get in touch via our DMs 📩

Last night, members of Exeter Round Table, alongside our friends from Exeter 41 Club, rolled up our sleeves at the St Thomas Community Garden in the St Thomas Pleasure Grounds 🌱

After recently donating funds to help replace some rotten fence posts, it was great to get on site and get stuck in—digging out the old and installing the new 💪

A brilliant team effort, making a real difference to a fantastic local space. And of course… all that hard work earned us a well-deserved beer and burger afterwards 🍔🍻

🥊 The Unspoken Rules of Round Table

The first rule of Round Table...
is you ABSOLUTELY do talk about Round Table.

Because if you've found a great thing - why keep it to yourself?

The second rule of Round Table...
is EVERYONE is welcome to get involved.

You don't need tons of time.
You don't need to be Brad Pitt or Ed Norton...
You just need to turn up.

The third rule of Round Table...
is help your COMMUNITY.

From charity events to donating time at the local food shelter, doing a bit of good together is kind of the point.

And the final rule of Round Table...
If you're looking for new mates, new experiences and a reason to get out of the house - Round Table is most definitely for you.

Find your local Table and get involved.
