Mosshayne Farm
Mosshayne farm is an Organic farm in East Devon, growing organic vegetables and with a small flock of laying hens.
You can walk down Mosshayne lane to visit and feed the pigs and hens and buy our vegetables and eggs from the honesty shop (open 8:00-dusk) We have a 1.5 mile long footpath following our farm lane, right through the center of our farm. Come and walk down our lane, see our veg growing and pop by our (honesty box) farm shop.
Another gorgeous day at Mosshayne Farm!
Over 86 veggie animal creations were made at Tithebarn Fun Day, and they were just so inventive and creative!
I could see children's imaginations bursting with ideas on fantastic animals they could make. Thank you everyone who made an animal and entered the competition.
We also had so much fun hosting the Welly Wanging and Egg Throw competitions, I hope no one got too splattered with egg!
What an amazing atmosphere, so many families having great fun. It was a lovely community day.
Huge shout out to the Tithebarn Residents Association for organising. A massive amount of work goes on in the background to make sure a day like Saturday runs smoothly - we've been organising this for months and months, but it was all totally worth it.
Also big credit to Spillers Photography - for some gorgeous photos of the day. Cain took some great action shots of the games, and lovely photos of the farm stall and staff.

New in the Honesty Shop - Goose's Organic Sourdough loaves.
Made in small batches just up the road in Whimple, using organic Southwest Grain Network flour, this bread tastes ✨incredible✨. Auguste (Goose) is a brilliant baker, and we're so excited to be stocking his bread. Find it in the shop every Friday.

Tithebarn Fun Day!
Only a couple more days to go!
We'll be there in our farm tent, doing free veggie crafting. Come and make your favourite animal, or a beautiful new creation and enter our competition to win a chance to meet the pigs in person!
We'll also have our chicks, a tractor you can climb on, and be hosting games as part of the fun - Welly Wanging, The Egg Throw competition and a Tug of War!
See you there!

Our new logo!
I'm so in love with this image, created by Amber. Amber is basically our resident in residence, having previously done the artwork in the back of our Honesty Shop, and labels for our chutneys & jams, she's now created this beautiful scene for our logo.
Amber, her partner Jakub (who works on the farm) and I thought the design would particularly work well as a lino print... so Jakub (another talented artist) cut it into lino and last night we had a fun team session of printing onto t-shirts for the staff!
You'll soon be seeing our logo on more signage around the farm, and might spot our workers wearing their new t-shirts around the place too!

Leek w**ding!
We've got everyone's favourite w**ding machine out - the bedw**der!
We've previously run through with a mechanical w**der but it can't w**d in-between the plants. On the bedw**der our staff lie down and staring at the floor, pull up all the w**ds they can see in between the baby leeks. Because we've had to irrigate so much this year as it's been so dry, we've had a big flush of fat-hen w**ds.

Our "Honesty Box" down on the corner of Blackhorse lane near Tithebarn is now our "Egg Box"!
We're struggling to keep our veg in quality condition in the box, and also are unable to give our full veg offering at the box shop, so now we have just eggs in the Egg Box and our huge full variety of veg and farm produce is available in our main Honesty Shop, just 20 minutes walk from the Egg Box.
So much veg, so many colours! I love this time of year!
