Exeter auto seating

Will's stunning ducati fitted with the seat he fabricated from carbon fibre and I recovered.

I don't normally post jobs like this as its not very glamorous. A working pick up truck this seat base was shot(unfortunately didn't take any pics), half of the foam was missing, the other half falling apart, the cover was a mix of repairs and gaffer tape. As a working truck it just needed to be usable with less concern on looks so no piping or snazzy stitching. A quick weld on a broken bracket, new elastic webbing with hessian stretched over and remade foam just reusing the knee roll part. The closeish match vinyl cover was made using a mix of measurements and tracing around usable bits of the old cover. Again as it's a working truck I didn't need to spend extra time getting a better fit and finish as I would on other jobs I do. All in all done and dusted in under four hours and now usable for many more years.

Vespa gts single seat that I slightly changed the rear edge shape by adding some foam and blending it to the factory foam. Then a new cover to match the new shape.

Lambretta ancillotti.Basket weave sides, black mottled top with hidden stitch pleats and grey piping. Also cut the rear down and added a 1.8cm gel pad for comfort.

Up for sale is my 2009 Suzuki swift 1.3. I've owned this for the past 12 years so time for a change and upgrade. Just over 132k miles but still plenty of use left. Service history. Mot until Feb 27. Custom full leather interior.Bodywork a little tired (just like me), with a few scrapes here and there, I've tried to post pics of them. Its been totally reliable in the time I've owned it. Bad bits other than the scrapes are, one dash led out which I've never bothered repairing and the gearbox is possibly a little rumbly. Ideal first car. £950, open to any offer. Exeter, Devon.
