Spent some lovely down time yesterday in the lovely Worcestershire village of Ashton-Under-Hill, looking for interesting carvings on the church. The first photo shows my favourite ones, the last one is where they were. In between, gargoyles!

Practicing gratitude
This is rose Koko Loco, my favourite, but it has hardly blossomed this year. A few days ago I spotted the beautiful bud, covered in raindrops, and knew there would be sunny days ahead where it would be fully out. It’s on its way!

I am so lucky that even in September I have plenty of my favourite cone shaped flowers, and most of them have the most wonderful scent. They make the garden a wonderful place to be

Lovely to stand in the garden, in the sun, and be able to hear both the bell tower bells and the brass band in the park
This is ragwort. Isn’t it lovely?
