Face Painting My name is Clare Rees and I am based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Face painting for children's events and parties is a fantastic way to enhance the day.
The look on the children's faces as they are transformed into their favourite animal, princess or superhero is wonderful to see. Thank you Sutton Conservatives Club - a lovely air conditioned room to paint faces for their open day.....bliss!
Two more events this weekend.......a Summer Party for a company in Cambridge Science Park this afternoon/evening, and Sutton Conservatives Club open day tomorrow afternoon. Let's hope the weather is a little less changeable than it was last weekend - sun burnt at an event on Saturday, and drenched through with gazebo's taking off on Sunday!

What a lovely sunny Summer Fair at the Lantern School today. Both Gladis and I are a little sunburnt this evening! Here is just a selection of the gorgeous little people we painted today. Thank you to everyone who came to see us and well done to FOTLS for all your brilliant organising.

A Cheshire Cat and a hedgehog ..... practicing for a play!
Busy working on some designs for an Alice In Wonderland Year 6 school play - that's going to be fun! And I've got my first pregnant belly painting coming up soon........so exciting!!
Two events to look forward to this weekend. I will be painting faces at The Lantern Summer Fair on Saturday from 12 until 3pm (Nene Road, Ely) then at Gault Day in Sutton on Sunday from 12:30 onwards. Looking forwards to painting lots of spidermen, fairies, princesses, butterflies, monsters, pirates, flowers, snakes, cats, tigers...............!

Thank you to all the gorgeous little (and a few not so little!) people who came to see me today at the Etheldreda Fair. As usual I didn't get the chance to take as many photos as I would have liked, but here are just a few.....
It's the Etheldreda Fair tomorrow and I will be there again this year, painting lots of lovely faces from until around 5pm. I'll be just outside the front of the Cathedral on Palace Green - looking forward to it!

It was busy busy busy at the Littleport Children's Centre/Timebank fundraising event today! But I did get a chance to take a few photos. Well done to Caline Roberts Easey and her team - I believe they raised around £450 for Childline!
