CLP had the pleasure of attending the Citizens Rights Project Europe Day Conference: From Migration Narratives to Lived Realities.
This important event brought together researchers, policymakers, civil society organisations, and European communities to reflect on the lived experiences of EU and other European nationals in Scotland, particularly in the context of migration narratives, public discourse, rights, and belonging. The conference focused on how immigration debates shape both policy and everyday life for European citizens in Scotland.
Festival of Europe Scotland has really created a valuable space for dialogue and reflection :)

Fantastic news for education, mobility, and international collaboration: the UK is returning to the Erasmus+ programme next year! 🥳
This marks an important step forward for students, educators, researchers, youth workers, and organisations across Europe. Erasmus+ has always been far more than student exchange. It is a powerful platform for cooperation, innovation, skills development, cultural understanding, and long-term partnerships.
The return of the UK opens new opportunities for schools, universities, VET providers, adult education centres, NGOs, and public institutions to reconnect, collaborate, and build stronger European projects together.
We are excited to step back into this European space. We are open to new collaborations, strategic partnerships, and joint project development across education, research, training, and innovation. We are ready to reconnect, create, and go back in the game.
A stronger, more connected European education space benefits everyone.
It is good to be back, Europe 🇬🇧🇪🇺
It is with deep regret that we announce the temporary suspension of our Erasmus+ programmes, effective immediately. The decision stems from the far-reaching implications of Brexit, which have rendered the UK's participation in EU-funded research and mobility programmes untenable.
The profound impact of Brexit on such collaborative initiatives has left us with no alternative but to pause our Erasmus+ programmes. We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause, especially to those who have benefitted from or were eagerly anticipating participation in these valuable initiatives.
Please be assured that we are actively exploring feasible solutions to swiftly resume operations. In the meantime, we remain committed to providing our Translation, Editing, and Proofreading services without interruption. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this transitional phase.
We will keep you informed of any developments as they arise and sincerely hope for the emergence of new opportunities for collaboration across Europe in the near future.
